I wasn't especially thrilled with my last layouts, but they are done. That excursion to the mine was not the highlight of our trip by a long shot even though it was fun.
While we were in New York, we went to Coney Island for a day. Lizzy insisted we eat at Nathan's. What a busy place that was! So busy and full of atmosphere and fun.
I think I'm getting the hang of this layering thing and can say that I am thrilled with this layout. I used some really ancient stuff on this, as well as some new things. It's eclectic.
Thanks for looking and leaving a comment!

Love it. The green and yellow are great with the splashes of red. You did great with the layers. I need to work on that.
Very nice Tricia. One of my favorites. I like the sweet little yellow button by the word enjoy. Cute!

The yellow and red work so well together, and really compliment the photo. The layering is brilliant, lots of interesting bits to look at! x
I love all the the different little bits and pieces on your layout...I've been trying to "master" this look lately too!!!

I like the green 'tiles' plus the layers - looks good and were the hot dogs any good?
I spy the club scrap in there! LOL! Just added your blog to my google reader, so am doing some catch up. I love your take on the counterfeit kit for this month.
