Wander

Welcome to the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog Hop! You should have arrived here from Jennifer's blog. If you didn't, you might want to start at the beginning so you don't miss anything.

One of the challenges at Counterfeit Kits was to visit blogs of the design team and create a project based on something that inspired you. I saw lots of inspiration on these blogs, but I chose to follow Lisa because I wanted to use up this stamp paper from my kit and she did it so well! I'm starting to get the hang of the layering technique and am finding I really enjoy it. I pulled a few extra things into my kit for this layout, but, hey, it's all stash, so it's all good, right?

Lizzy took this photo while we were riding the bus into the city. When she came home from her mission in New York, her luggage didn't make it onto the plane with her. Since we were going back two weeks later, we asked the mission secretary to keep it until we arrived. On our itinerary for this day was a trip to the mission office to meet her mission president and collect the stranded luggage. We were able to stow it on the bus for the ride back to New Jersey and only had to walk a couple of blocks with it instead of our usual mile from the train station. Don't we look cool, relaxed and refreshed?

Thanks for stopping by - be sure to leave a comment so I'll know you were here! Don't stop now - hop on over to Ashley's blog next.

I really like how you used journaling with stickers and I love that you were able to add a lot of little embellishments without it looking over-done.

Great use of your stuff and that stamp edge paper but still keeping the focus on the photo. Nice to see the "I am loved" pin, we still have tons of them at our house.
