Home Bakery

While we were in New York, we shopped at a lot of bakeries. I was missing them this week since we've been home, so I baked this treat.

Finished product. It was delicious! The holes are filled with raspberry jam alternating with blackberry orange jam. The icing is lemon-flavored with chopped pecans on top.

Today I baked currant scones and whole wheat bread. Currants from my garden. Just to be different, I put two loaves together and braided the dough. No photos of those, but they were yummy too!
