While we were in New York, we walked and walked and walked. Everywhere we went, we saw and smelled bakeries. The bakeries were representative of the many cultures there and we could not resist sampling the yummy treats. Nearly every day we stopped in a different bakery and each of us chose something we thought we would love. Then we took them home and shared our treats. So much fun and not too fattening that way! (Remember, I said we walked and walked and walked.)
This layout is for the Get Your Sketch On challenge #11. I normally prefer to work from a layout, but I had no problems working with this great sketch. I used my March Counterfeit Kit but, naturally, had to add a few bits and pieces. Joining the ranks were brown cardstock, journaling papers, Thickers and mist. I don't remember now if the brads I used were in my original kit. I pulled the orange button off the cupcake and put this cute brad in its place. Seems more appropriate somehow.
Thanks for looking and leaving a comment!

I am loving the ribbon at the bottom of the page...Reminds me of ice cream as a child!
That brad is great on top of the cupcake, I like the title treatment and that ruffled ribbon looks like piped icing to me!
