What a busy day this has been. We started off early so that we could get our weekly Bountiful Basket. What fun this week - artichokes! This looks like a small basket today but it's not. We also got bananas (where are they?) and tomatoes. We bought a case of tomatoes this week so we put the ones from our basket in there when we packed it up. I am so happy to have these potatoes. I love potatoes in every way, shape or form. We got extra strawberries for helping today, everything else was in our basket.
The tomatoes are not quite ripe enough for canning. Hopefully, they will be ready by Monday. We ate one in our salad for lunch and it was very good.
After we got our basket contents washed and put away, we went out to pick our own grapes. Wow! I don't think we've ever had a bumper crop like this one! The cucumbers are from our garden. I've been ignoring them because I had some in the fridge from two weeks ago. But I'm ready for them now. We also had one of these in today's salad.
I spent the morning making juice while I watched Conference. The little kids were here with us. They were good to stay downstairs with Papa so they weren't underfoot in the kitchen. Look at that - twelve quarts! I had enough left over to make a little juice to drink today.

Ooo yum! I love home canned grape juice. Your produce looks so pretty.
Artichokes - I love them and was delighted to see them earlier this summer in my basket. Didn't have enough tomatoes to can but made several boxes of tomato sauce. Someone brought in grapes from their garden to share and they were sweet. Gorgeous box of goodies :)
My US parents were watching conference too but with much less healthy food options
Yummy! I don't think I have ever had grape juice made from grapes in my garden. I am enjoying seeing everything you are doing with your produce!
