Katydid

This guy was on the gate this afternoon. I would have missed him altogether, but Heather saw him. 

The kids had a hard time understanding what we were trying to get them to see. 

He looks so much like a leaf that's been caught on the boards.

Or her eyes. I have no way of knowing. Nor do I care to check.
