Christmas 2009

The little kids came over yesterday to make cookies for Santa. They were so good and we all had so much fun. They do love to decorate!

Christmas morning - just the two of us - so different. We had gifts for the kids waiting for their visit later in the day.

The highlight of the day was our call from Lizzy. Everyone was here so we all had a chance to talk to her. She is happy and well. She had a wonderful Christmas in New York. Working with the Spanish-speaking people, she celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve as that is usually their tradition. Today they had phone calls home and District activities. Smudge seemed to sense that she was on the phone, she spent a good share of the call on my lap staring at me. (Notice - still no mantle, sigh.)

David and Yazzy stayed for dinner and then Terry and I went to the new Sherlock Holmes movie. A lot of people had the same idea - every show was sold out and the entire theater was packed. We both loved it!

Merry Christmas!

OH! What a fabulous idea for the "cookies". I wonder if my kiddos would think that as fun as making a ton of small ones??? Have a great Sunday and enjoy your church service tomorrow
