On Columbus Day, October 12, I packed my camera with me everywhere I went. Since it was a state holiday, I was not at the office. I took photos of everyday, ordinary things and made a two-page layout of my activities. After I was finished I realized how fun this will be to look at in years to come. Luckily one of my photos was taken outdoors so I can see what the weather was like that day. If my mother had done a page like this when she was my age, what might it have looked like? What would my page have looked like ten years ago? This is really my life in a nutshell. Note to self: make this an annual Columbus Day event.

Papers and dragonfly brads are from the October Scarlet Lime. Fuzzy brads, flowers, number and letter stickers from my stash. Here's how it will look in the album. (It isn't crooked in real life, I just have a difficult time taking a straight photo!)

And by the way, I'm almost finished with my book.

very nicely done. I am loving that kit too!
What a neat collection to look back to - like the captions on the photos with the numbers.
