Amy challenged us to make a LO using only cardstock, no patterned paper allowed! And to make it even more challenging, we were to make it monochromatic - use five shades of one color. I have five shades of yellow here. The red is not CS, it is paper tape. This LO also qualified for Wendrie's challenge to do a LO about food. This LO also includes ephemera and my second flower. This little square of fabric has been sitting on my scrappy table for a few weeks and the colors are exactly perfect for the LO. Kylie posted a challenge to do a LO in 30 minutes or less and I tried to do it for this one. I made a grand effort but finished about eight minutes over the time limit.

This LO was for Kylie's Shabby Chic Bingo challenge. I love shabby chic but can't say that I'm very good at it. This LO fit all of the qualifications and I really like it, but I'm not sure it is really shabby chic. The vintage photo is from a kit - nobody I know, LOL!

This next LO is one of my favorites from the weekend. Kylie challenged us to use ephemera. I love using ephemera on my pages. Lizzy had sent home a box of things for me to 'take care of' for her and so you see, I am taking good care of them! I used her admission ticket and map for the New York Aquarium here. Wendrie also challenged us to use up some of our metal stash. This LO has a metal clasp on the ticket.

Ryan asked us to buy a bag of Dove Promise chocolates. We had to eat chocolate until we found the perfect quote to use on a LO. Okay, we could have just unwrapped the chocolate or gone online, but eating was ever so much more fun! I had been working in this LO for the swap kit challenge and was stuck for a title until I unwrapped the chocolate that said, "Put your feet up and unwind." Perfect!

Ryann also made a tutorial on how to make faux silk. I used her tutorial to make the journaling card on this LO. This is also one of my favorite LOs from the weekend.

Robin challenged us to make a LO around the theme of 'critters.' I've had these old Polaroid photos of Katy and Smudge sitting around forever and this seemed like the perfect time to scrap them. They aren't the best photos but they are the only ones we have of this time. It's fun to have them in a place where they can be seen and out of the ever-growing pile of pictures to be scrapped.

I have never scrapped so much without taking a break! I had a glorious time and just can't say enough good things about all the girls who hosted challenges - even the ones I didn't have time to finish.
