Ad Challenge Layout

Aleta posted this ad on the OSU message board. When I look at this ad, I notice the colorful, floral portion at the top focusing on a single photo and the clean, crisp text portion at the bottom with a bold headline and subtle accent.

Here is my take on this layout. Mine is reversed - I'm left handed, what can I say? Actually, it has to be reversed because Lizzy is looking the other direction. What I like about my photo is that it focuses on my subject's hands and lips. I see that same focus in the original ad. Just a coincidence - the photo was on my table, ready to be scrapped.

Paper and chipboard are Basic Grey, Urban Prarie, die cut paper from Crate Paper, buttons and ribbon from Stampin' Up!, AC thickers, Bazzil card stock, thread.

That's a very pretty page. Love the flower arrangement.

Great job on the ad challenge. I still haven't gotten around to trying that one out yet. Like you, I the clean font at the bottom white space - that is probably the element I will try for.
